PAN 0103 Perelaar - Nederlandse Volksmuziek (1978). Traditional Dutch folk music Two tracks on PAN 2004. PAN 0204 De Dansende Beer 2 (1978). * A sampler with live recordings of folk music from The Netherlands from folk-theater De Dansende Beer in 1978. Folk music from the Low Lands (Netherlands and Belgium). PAN 0105 King's Galliard - De Boerenplof (1978). * Mostly Irish and some Dutch traditional music. King's Galliard was one of the most outstanding groups in the Dutch folk revival (1975/80). One track on PAN 0100. PAN 0106 Ramshackle Stringband 1975/79 (1979). * Oldtime, bluegrass and jugband music. The backside depicts a drawing by fiddle player Nout Grupstra of the young producer Bernard Kleikamp, who holds a board with the text “Zing je moers taal” (“sing your mother’s language”), which refers to his then (and now!) promoting of singing in the Dutch language. PAN 0108 Marion Arts & Robbie Lavën - There's two sides to it (1981). * New Zealand couple playing blues, cajun, and own contemporary music. Multi-instrumentalist Robbie Lavën accompanies Marion who sings and plays guitar. PAN 0109 Folk van Formaat (1981). * Sampler with folkgroups from Holland. One track on PAN 0100. PAN 110 Mioritza - Rumanian folk music (1982). * 7-piece ensemble playing traditional instrumental Rumanian music. Released as CD by ARC. PAN 111 Sharon Bradley - Hello in there (1982). * Irish singer Sharon Bradley accompanied by several wellknown musicians (Mairtin O’Connor-accordion, Eamon Curran-uilleann pipes, Sean Keane-flute, Robbie Lavën, Jørn Plas, frenk van Meeteren). This album contains instrumental tunes, traditional Irish songs, songs from the 1930s and contemporary songs. PAN 112 Crooks - Million Dollar Band (1983). * A blend of swing music from the 1920s and 1930s. One track on PAN 0100; six tracks on PAN 151. PAN 116 Boulevard of Broken Dreams (1984). PAN 117 Henk Batenburgh - De Brief (1985). * Dutch singer, poet, and songwriter, wellknown in the Dutch cabarets and theaters. PAN 118 Pandora (1985) Instrumental music, influenced by musical cultures from all over the world. The ensemble is accompanied by famous classical violin player Theo Olof. PAN 119 Kees Ouwejan & Makkers - Live (1985). * Original Dutch cabaret-like songs and Irish traditional music. The band features Mick Ryan, All Ireland Champion on the fiddle, who sadly died in 2005. PAN 120 Kormorán - Live in Holland (1985). * Folk rock music by Hungarian ensemble. One track on PAN 0100. Released as CD in 1999. PAN 121 Crackerhash - Stukken en Brokken (1986). * Contemporary Dutch folk music and several instrumentals. Four tracks on PAN 3002, several tracks on 210. PAN 122 Budapest Ragtime Band - Elite Syncopations (1986). * Ragtime music, played by a 9-piece ensemble. Released as CD in 1992. PAN 123 Bill Craig - On the left (1986). * Traditional Irish and contemporary., with brilliant arrangements on synthesizer by ex-Skyboat member Don Garbut. One track on PAN 0100 PAN 124 40 jaar Haagse Jazzclub (1986). Sampler album with Dutch old-style topbands, lika Reunion Jazzband,, Dutch Swing College Band. PAN 125 100˚ Celsius - Redgrass (1987). * Bluegrass and country from Hungarian top band, playing covers and original compositions (in English). Released as CD in 1991, augmented with 4 new tracks. PAN 126 Crooks - Jigwalk (1987). * Swing music from the 1920s and 1930s, intricate and well-balanced. Four tracks on PAN 151. PAN 127 Alan Holland - What’s in a name. Irish, English, and Scottish traditional ballads.

Alan Holland was the stage name of Leiden troubadour Bert Haasjes, who was known for his lovely deep voice. His career spanned 30 years, as a singer/guitarist in the party-circuit, as lead-singer in folkrock band Halloween, and in several other duo’s and trio’s. He also regularly performed with Leiden-based partyfolkband Ouwejan & Makkers, but ultimately his career ran aground in disaster. He died in 2006 from alcohol poisoning, the fate of so many talented musicians. PAN 128 Kolinda 6 (1988). * Legendary Hungarian ensemble, playing a blend of traditional Hungarian, Balkan jazz and classical music. Three LPs were previously released by French label Hexagone, 2 LPs (under the name “Makam és Kolinda”) were released by Munich Records. 3 more CDs followed over the years with PAN Records. Simultaneously released as CD in 1988, augmented with two tracks. PAN 129 Release 88 - Restless skies (1988). A follow-up of the Pandora project (see PAN 118). Modern jazz, and improvised compositions, (keyboards, flute, guitar, bass, drums). Only released as CD. PAN 130 Marcel van Steenhoven - Shorttrack (1989). * Talented young chansonnier, playing on compositions. Marcel was winner of the 1987 Curaçao International Troubadour Festival.
