| In the International Series PAN records and releases traditional and revival folk- and contemporary musicians from all over the world, ranging from pure ethnic music to folkrock. Sometimes CD-releases coincide with a concert tour, or studio recordings are made during a tour for future release (as, by the way, also often happened with ethnic ensembles during concert tours). We prefer to make recordings directly with microphones in a special stereo-setting without any mixing, adaptation, or artificial echo. CDs have a 4 - 12 page booklet with background information in the English language, sometimes in other languages too (notably Greek, Spanish, Dutch, Hungarian). Back-catalogue LPs remain available subject to stock. Original compositions on CDs in the International Series are usually registered through our music publishing company Parallax. |
